Ballina and Westport name teams for Mayo SFC final replay

The Ballina Stephenites and Westport teams have been named for the Connacht Gold Mayo Senior Football Championship final replay.

Westport have named the same team that started last Sunday's drawn game, which suggests Lee Keegan has recovered from the injury he picked up early in that encounter.

Ballina's Padraig O'Hora went off injured in the same incident and he has not been named to start by the Stephenites management, though he has been allocated a place on the bench.

In total, the named Ballina team shows three changes to that which started last week, with Sean Regan at number six instead of O'Hora, while Brendan Collins and Ciaran Treacy come into the full-forward line. Both Collins and Treacy were named to start last week but late changes saw Jack Irwin and Luke Doherty drafted in. Irwin and Doherty are on the bench.

Joe Grady replaced Lee Keegan after his injury withdrawal last Sunday and Westport also introduced Kevin Keane and Pat and Tom Lambert during the game, so they have plenty of options on the bench.

The Westport team in full is as follows: Paddy O'Malley; Ben Doyle, Niall McManamon, Brian McDermott; Conal Dawson, Eoghan McLaughlin, Finbar McLaughlin; Rory Brickenden, Lee Keegan; Luke Tunney, Joey Holmes, Brian O'Malley; Lorcan Silke, Killian Kilkelly, Colm Moran.

Ballina Stephenites are named to line out as follows: David Clarke; Liam Golden, Luke Jordan, Ciaran Boland; Sam Callinan, Sean Regan, David Tighe; Mike Murray, Frank Irwin; Dylan Thornton, Conor McStay, Niall Feeney; Evan Regan, Brendan Collins, Ciaran Treacy.

It is anticipated that changes will be made to the named teams before throw-in, which is timed for 3 p.m. this afternoon (Saturday) in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar, with Kevin Connolly of Hollymount/Carramore GAA Club handed the refereeing duties.
