Funding being sought for car park extension at busy Mayo complex

Mayo County Council has invited expressions of interest under the Town & Village Renewal Scheme 2025 and Project Development Measure 2025.

Two projects in the Castlebar area have been put forward for consideration.

They are an extension to the car park at Lough Lannagh Leisure Centre and the development of the Old Swimming Pool at Humbert Way.

Castlebar Celtic has been in talks with the council in respect of acquiring the latter property.
