Leanne is a qualified Early Years Educator based in Ireland, with over seven years of experience working with children from four months to 12 years old.

Her lifelong passion for storytelling and her love of nurturing young minds came together in 2023 when she began writing short stories for children.

Speaking about the book, she stated: "Max the dog wants to cheer up his best friend: a little girl who is finding it hard to make friends with other children in school.

"He is on a mission to find something that can bring a smile back on the little girl’s face.

"When Max strays too far from home, his search leads to him stumbling upon a forest full of twinkling magic and enchanting creatures.

"A Dog’s Best Friend is a poetic and whimsical illustrated storybook that can teach young children the importance of friendship and kindness."
