Another mixed and windy week ahead for Mayo

A dry start in store for much of the county but heavy spells of showers in the afternoon, according to the latest forecast.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 27

Largely dry at first on Monday with sunny spells and isolated showers.

Outbreaks of rain and drizzle will spread from the west to many parts during the morning. The rain will extend to all parts during the afternoon and may turn heavy in places on Monday evening.

Light to moderate westerly winds will increase moderate to fresh and gusty, with strong winds developing near coasts.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 13 degrees.

Mixed, with wet and breezy conditions at times.

MONDAY NIGHT:

Rain will gradually clear southeastwards and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers.

Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with moderate to fresh westerly winds.
