Two arrests in Mayo after drugs detected at road traffic stop

Two men have been arrested by gardaí in Mayo after a seizure of a quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis with an estimated value of €8,000, pending analysis.

The detection was made at a road traffic stop in Castlebar.

A quantity of cash was also seized.

The two men have been detained and questioned in relation to the seizure.

Investigations are ongoing.
