THOMAS PRENDERGAST, LOUISBURGH

Thomas Prendergast, Cahir, Louisburgh.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Mary (née Ruddy), daughters Aisling (London), Aoife (Galway), and Órfhlaith (Limerick), brothers P.J. (Portlaoise), and Padraic (Ballina), sisters Nancy Cuddigan (Cork), Maureen Quinn (The Quay, Westport), and Ita Cleary (Claremorris), son-in-law Kevin O Flatharta, adored grandson Iarlaith, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended Prendergast and Ruddy families and a wide circle of friends.

Thomas will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh on Wednesday, October 29 from 5.30 p.m., concluding with Vigil Prayers at 7.30 p.m. followed by removal, walking to St. Patrick's Church, Louisburgh.

Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by interment in Kilgeever Cemetery.

JOHN DURKIN, BALLAGHADERREEN

John Durkin, Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England and late of Cloverhill, Ballaghaderreen.

Predeceased by his parents Sean and Mary. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his partner Tan Tawan, his children Rhys and Grainne and their mother Anne, brother Pat, sisters Rena, Mary, Attracta, Angela, Olive, Siobhan and Ruth, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, relatives friends and wider family.

Mass of the Resurrection Saturday, November 1 at 1.30 p.m. in The Cathedral of the Annunciation and St. Nathy, Ballaghaderreen with burial afterwards in Kilcolman Cemetery.

MARY MCDERMOTT, BALLINA

Mary McDermott (née O’Regan), Douglas, Co. Cork, Earlsfield, SW London, and Ballina.

Devoted wife of the recently deceased Jim, and cherished daughter of the late Timothy and Mary (Mamie - née Barrett) O’Regan. Loving mother of Kevin, Gerard and Sylvester, and beloved sister of Helen and the late Tom. Wonderful Nana to her adored grandchildren Jack, Katie, Tara and Karolina and much-loved aunt to her nieces Jurena and Michelle.

Mary will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, feisty character and her love of animals and walks on the local beach at Killala Co. Mayo.

MICHAEL EDWARD LAVELLE, ACHILL ISLAND

Michael Edward Lavelle, Bunnacurry, and formerly of Dugort East, Achill.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Alice.

He will be dearly and lovingly missed by his heartbroken wife Ann (Née Sweeney), brothers Joe(Dugort) and Pat(Galway), sisters-in-law Soledad(Dugort), Mary(Dublin) Patricia(London), and Angela(Dublin), brother-in-law John(Bunacurry) nieces, nephews, extended family and his wide circle of good friends and neighbours.

Michael will repose at Lavelle’s Funeral Home Cashel, Achill on Wednesday, October 29 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Removal from his residence Thursday morning to St Joseph’s Church, Bunnacurry for requiem mass at 11 a.m.

Burial afterwards in Bunnacurry cemetery.

JERRY COAKLEY, CONG

Jerry (Jeremiah) Coakley, Hazel Grove, Drumsheel , Cong, and formerly Renvyle, Co. Galway.

Predeceased by his parents John Coakley and Kathleen Ruddy Coakley. Survived by his loving family, wife Anne (née O’Toole), children Marian, Seán and Geraldine, brothers John and Paddy Ruddy, sister Mary Ruddy, daughter-in-law Siobhán, grandchildren Robert, Karen and Oscar, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

MARY CLEARY, BALLYHAUNIS

Mary (Delia) Cleary (née McGuire), Ealing, London and formerly of Ballykilleen, Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis.

Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Nora, brothers Tom, Martin and Paddy Joe. She is deeply regretted by her sons Eugene and Kieran, their partners Michelle and Yevett and her adored grandchildren Siobhan and Kerry, brothers Kevin and Michael, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at O Dwyer Funeral Home, Ealing on Wednesday evening, November 5. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Thursday, November 6 at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Greenford, London, followed by cremation at Mortlake Crematorium.
