Manufacturing Engineering Project of the Year award for Mayo business
MAYO company PanelDuct has won the Manufacturing Engineering Project of the Year award at the 2025 Engineering Excellence Awards.
The award recognises PanelDuct’s bespoke plenums for a pharmaceutical facility project in Dublin.
As part of this project, the PanelDuct team designed and manufactured several bespoke plenums, applying off-site prefabrication and precision engineering to meet the strict standards required in pharmaceutical environments. Each plenum featured the highest level of airtightness in the industry, modular perimeter frames, and tool-free flyscreens, combining innovation with functionality.
Completed within a 13-week programme, the project demonstrated advanced off-site manufacturing methods that improved efficiency, hygiene, and digital coordination across the build.
