Mayo company's Tea Day raises over €6,500 for Western Alzheimers

CORRIB Oil, one of Ireland’s leading service station and energy providers, has announced that its Tea Day, held recently across its outlets in Galway and Mayo, successfully raised over €6,500 in support of its charity partner, Western Alzheimers. All revenues from tea and coffee sales between 6 and 11 a.m. on the day were donated to the charity.

Western Alzheimer's provides care and advisory services in the community for people and families living with dementia, with day services also offered in centres across Galway, Roscommon and Mayo.

Corrib Oil has been a proud partner of Western Alzheimers since 2017 and the Tea Days are an example of the partnership’s impact and helps supports the vital work of Western Alzheimer's across the region.

Phillip Monks, chief marketing officer with Corrib Oil, said: “We are delighted to continue supporting Western Alzheimers and the incredible work they do for families living with dementia. Our participation in Tea Day not only helps raise vital funds but also give our customers a chance to contribute to their local communities.

“We’re committed to continue making a positive impact both through our services and through initiatives that matter.”

Triona Joyce, fundraising manager at Western Alzheimers, added: “We are thrilled to receive this generous donation from Corrib Oil. Their ongoing support makes a real difference in the lives of families living with dementia, helping us reach over 500 families and continue expanding our services across the region.”
