Twenty-six new homes proposed in east Mayo town

TWENTY-SIX new homes are being proposed in Swinford town.

A planning application has been submitted to Mayo County Council for the homes, at Park Road.

Applicants Raymond Jordan and Martin Gleeson are looking to build a mix of residential unit types on the site, close to the junction between Davitt Place and Riverside, providing excellent connectivity to the town.

Brabazon Woods is located immediately to the south of the site, which contains a walking loop and playground.

The scheme proposes housing of different types, sizes, tenures and styles to suit a wide demographic and to facilitate for all stages of life, ranging from one- to four-bedroom houses.
