Two Mayo AC master athletes listed in national records

New Irish master records were ratified recently in Dublin – and two Mayo AC athletes have been listed among updates to the Irish Master Women’s National Road Records.

Colette Tuohy from Castlebar ran 3:09.58 for a new W55 national marathon record on October 27 last year in the Dublin City Marathon, while Newport athlete Pauline Moran ran 34:22 for a new W65 national five-mile record in the Phoenix Park on June 11, 2023.

Pauline already holds two W65 national road records – for 10k (42:20), recorded in Torun, Poland, in 2023, and for the half-marathon (1:30.56), which she ran in Tullamore in August of last year.
