Mayo 'Brave the Drop' abseil challenge raises €320k for cancer support

The Mayo Cancer Support has thanked Mayo GAA for its decision to select their organisation as charity partner for 2025.

The group held a bucket collection at the recent intermediate and senior football finals held in MacHale Park on October 19, and a total of €2,386.63 was raised.

Mayo Cancer Support Association manager, Orla Gillespie, expressed her thanks to Mayo GAA for facilitating this event.

The ‘Brave the Drop’ Croke Park Abseil Challenge - with the support of Mayo GAA - has raised an incredible €320,000 to date.

It's a record figure for a Croke Park abseil challenge.
