Air of positivity for Westport Tourism meeting

WESTPORT Tourism Organisation is looking forward to a very positive annual general meeting with lots of good news to share about Mayo.

Donal O’Shea, chairman, Westport Tourism Organisation, has announced that Alan Dillon, Minister of State for Small Business, Retail and the Circular Economy, will address the organisation’s annual general meeting.

It is a public meeting, open to all, and will take place at 2 p.m. in the Sean Staunton Room, Westport Town Hall, on Friday, November 14.

It should be a very positive AGM because there is so much good news to share about Mayo at the moment.

Following the usual business of the AGM, there will be five minute presentations by the UNESCO Joyce Country & Western Lakes Geopark, the Westport Marina Development Group and West On Track. This will be followed by an address by guest speaker Minister Dillon.

Expect a very informative meeting, with refreshments available afterwards.
