Mayo parish forum raises awareness over 'ongoing anti-social behaviour'

A Mayo community Facebook page has moved to raise awareness over what it describes as 'a distressing situation which is not acceptable in our parish'.

The 'What's On In Islandeady' platform has called for people with information to contact An Garda Siochána in Castlebar.

The site was contacted by a person wishing to highlight 'ongoing anti-social behaviour in the area'.

Issues highlighted include the alleged breaking of windows, creating loud noise and throwing fireworks at a property.

Disappointment has been expressed that the situation remains unresolved despite complaints to An Garda Siochána.
