Al’s back! Porter returns to Mayo this month

Following his sold-out tour in 2023/24, Al Porter returns to Ballina Arts Centre on Friday, November 21, with his new show – AL PORTER ALGORITHM.

Al’s search to find a formula for living in a world on fire sees him combine his unique brand of energetic, fun-loving comedy with some of his most relatable stories ever.

Just like online, in life you’ll see more of what you pay attention to, and Al’s always on the lookout for the upside.

This show asks important questions, such as: Why Instagram thinks he needs to get assessed? Can he learn to love renting in a house share? Can his parents deal with empty nest syndrome? Why is his brother the golden child? And much more than that too.

One of few Irish comics nominated for a Perrier Award, Al’s shows have been described as 'gloriously upbeat, 'irrepressible stand-up storytelling' and 'delightfully joyous'.
