Life-saving defibs installed throughout Mayo's National Park
VISITORS to one of Mayo's most remote locations now have access to vital life-saving equipment.
Four solar-powered defibrillators have been installed throughout the Wild Nephin National Park.
The defibrillators were installed by Darren Forde and his team at the award-winning Eco-Powered Cabinets along with the National Park general operatives staff.
The eco-powered cabinets do not require access to a power supply and can safely store life-saving medication as well as the defibs for use in a cardiac emergency.
This isn't the first remote location to benefit from eco-powered cabinets, with units already in use on Croagh Patrick and also with a global reach, as far away as rural Australia.
We are delighted to announce that 4 solar powered defibrillators have been installed throughout the National Park.
