Mayo event to discuss Hill Farming Today - Lessons from the Past

AN informative event on Hill Farming Today - Lessons from the Past is taking place this week in west Mayo.

Join ACRES West Connacht for a free and informative evening exploring the future of hill farming and what we can learn from the generations before us.

The event takes place this Wednesday (November 19) at 7 p.m. at Glen Keen Farm, Louisburgh.

Guest speaker Sean Cadden will share his insights and experiences on the evolving practices of hill farming in the west of Ireland.

This is a great opportunity for farmers, land managers, and anyone with an interest in sustainable rural development to connect and learn together. All are welcome and admission is free.

It's also a great chance to hear from Sean about his recently published book Seventy Years in the Wild West, which has been widely reviewed as an historic case study and insight into the rise and fall of one of the largest sheep farms in Ireland.
