Frosty spell set to continue for Mayo but weekend turning warmer

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 20
A cold, bright day on Thursday with scattered showers, some of hail and sleet with a chance of snow on high ground.
Showers will become isolated in the evening.
Highest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees in light to moderate west to northwest winds.
Becoming less cold later on Friday and over the weekend with spells of rain forecast.
THURSDAY NIGHT:
Dry and clear to start and turning very cold after dark.
Cloud will gradually build in from the west overnight with very light outbreaks of rain and drizzle possibly developing overnight, mainly on Atlantic coasts.
Mostly light to moderate northerly or variable breezes with lowest temperatures of -3 to +2 degrees with frost and icy patches likely.
