Unsettled conditions ahead for Mayo this weekend

IT will be less cold than recent days but wind and rain likely, according to the latest forecast.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22

Tomorrow morning will be dry for many with any mist and fog clearing to sunny spells and scattered showers.

Turning cloudier through the day with rain and drizzle gradually spreading from the southwest.

A milder day than lately with highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees in light to moderate southwesterly winds.

Turning less cold and more unsettled this weekend with a spell of wet and blustery weather. Drier and brighter once again for the start of next week.

SATURDAY NIGHT:

Wet and blustery on Saturday night with widespread outbreaks of rain, turning heavy in places. Moderate southerly winds will increase fresh and gusty overnight. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 23

A wet and rather windy day with rain continuing for most and fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds.

It will be drier in Munster with showers and sunny spells.

Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees.

SUNDAY NIGHT:

Rain will gradually sink southwards on Sunday night, with showers and clear spells following by morning.

Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees with northwest winds decreasing light to moderate.
