VARGHESE BASIL, CASTLEBAR

Varghese Basil, The Fairways, Springfield, Castlebar.

Sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Cuckoo Saji (who is a Staff Nurse in Mayo University Hospital), daughter Nathania Basil (who is a Junior Infants student in Castlebar Primary school) and his family and friends both in Ireland and in India.

Basil will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Saturday November 29 from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

All relatives, friends, community and acquaintances are being requested to honour Basil by their presence. This period of visitation provides an opportunity for solemn reflection, remembrance and the honouring of a life marked by respect, dignity and enduring impact.

Expression of sympathy and attendance during this time will be gratefully acknowledged as a meaningful way to commemorate his memory.

Basil’s remains will be repatriated to India for burial at a later date.

EAMONN CONWAY, SNUGBORO

Eamonn Conway, Carrabeag, Newport road and formerly of Ballinaglough, Snugboro, Castlebar.

Predeceased by his parents Edward and Teresa Conway and uncle-in-law Jimmy Munnelly.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, brother Padraic, sisters Rosemary, Tracy, Gillian and Deirdre, sister-in-law Caroline, brothers-in-law, Declan, Ciaran, Mark and Tadhg, aunts Margaret (Dodo Munnelly), Maura and Helena, uncles P.J Conway and Declan, beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts in-law, uncles in-law, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Eamonn will wake at his sister Tracy's residence, on Thursday, November 27.

Eamonn will repose at his brother Padraic’s residence, Ballinaglough, Snugboro on Friday, November 28 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Removal on Saturday morning at 10.15 a.m. for Requiem Mass at 11.30 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar.

Eamonn will be laid to rest afterwards in Castlebar New Cemetery.

RAYMOND GAUGHAN, ATTYMASS

Raymond Gaughan, East Port, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal and formerly of Byhalla, Attymass.

Predeceased by his infant babies Claire and Edward, parents Anthony and Annie Gaughan, brothers Jimmy and Sean, and nephew Edwin.

Survived by his loving wife Fidelma, daughter Emma and son Jason, son-in-law Aidan Mc Gonigle and daughter in-law Jenny. Adored by his grandchildren Patrick, Sean and Anna. Brothers and sisters Tony, Mickey, Mary, Anne, Margaret, Patricia and Bernie, nieces, nephews and all his extended family and friends.

Reposing at his daughter's residence no. 25 Assaroe View, Ballyshannon, Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

MÁIRÍN HIGGINS, WESTPORT

Máirín Higgins (née McLoughlin), “Sonas”, Quay Road, Westport.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph, parents Tina & Hugh, brother Sean, and niece Eimear Walsh.

Sadly missed by her daughters Sinéad & Aisling, brother Michael (Ann), sisters Eithne (Fran) Plunkett, Dublin & Patricia (Jim) Walsh, Dublin, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and dear friends.

Reposing at McGing's Funeral Home, Westport on Friday, November 28 from 5.00 p.m. until 7.00 p.m.

Cremation Service will take place in Shannon Crematorium on Saturday, November 29 at 4.00 p.m.

THERESA SHEEKEY, CASTLEBAR

Theresa Sheekey (Timmons), Humbert Way, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Marie, brother Christopher and sister Breda.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughters Rebecca and Michaela, son Seán and their father Michael, brothers Peter, Anthony and William, sisters-in-law Theresa and Jacinta, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass will take place on Monday (December 1st) at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, followed by Cremation Service afterwards at 2 p.m. in Shannon Crematorium, Co. Clare.
