Largely dry and cloudy for first day of December in Mayo

Dry start to December for the county but it’s set to turn wet later in the week, according to the latest forecast.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 1

Largely dry to start tomorrow with sunshine and isolated showers.

Turning cloudier in the afternoon with more frequent showers spreading from the west.

Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in light to moderate south to southwest.

Low pressure will dominate during the first week of meteorological winter with sunshine and showers at first, followed by spells of rain for the latter half of the week.

MONDAY NIGHT:

Becoming dry and clear for many overnight with scattered showers mainly affecting Atlantic coastal counties.

Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with a touch of frost possible in light to moderate southerly winds.
