Start date for Ballycroy playground upgrade

WORK on the refurbishment of the playground in Ballycroy will start early next year.

The contract has been awarded, with works starting in January and scheduled to be completed in Q1 of 2026.

The council’s parks superintendent has been engaging with the local community.

Local councillors were briefed on the project for their monthly municipal district meeting.

Councillor Gerry Coyle highlighted how something needs to be done in Aughleam also to move forward the playground there.
