New Network Ireland Mayo president unveils 'Be Your Change' vision
NETWORK Ireland Mayo has announced the appointment of Orla Bakeberg as its president for 2026.
It follows a memorable handover at the branch’s Christmas celebration and annual general meeting at the Park Hotel, Kiltimagh.
Orla, a celebrated businesswoman, photographer and passionate advocate for women in enterprise, steps into the role with an inspiring theme: 'Be Your Change'.
Co-owner and chief marketing officer of An Even Better Place to Work (bp2w®) - a CPD-accredited employee engagement platform, Orla brings decades of global business expertise from Ireland, South Africa and beyond.
A 2024 Network Ireland Mayo Businesswoman of the Year winner in the Creative Professional category, she has built her career on strategic communications, brand development and fostering high-performing teams worldwide. Her leadership will focus on empowering members to embrace transformation, build resilience and drive real progress in their businesses and lives.

Outgoing president Lorraine Burnell, who will serve as ex officio and treasurer, handed over a strengthened branch after a dynamic 2025 marked by record engagement and national recognition.

Incoming vice-president Dee Ruddy leads alongside a dynamic committee, including VPD Maureen McAndrew, events coordinator Michelle Scanlon, and membership officers Lorraine Hall, Miffy Hoad and Carmel Hughes.
