Soroptimists in north Mayo town raise €10,500 for local charities

The members of Ballina Soroptimists have announced the successful completion of a series of fundraising events that have raised vital funds for several local charities and vulnerable members of the community.

The club organised a vibrant calendar of activities over recent months, including a very successful September Soiree Lunch, each contributing to a remarkable total donation of €10,500.

These funds will directly support Cancer Care Fund for Children - Daisy Lodge, Ballina Family Resource Centre, Ballina Meals on Wheels, and the St. Vincent de Paul.

The club is incredibly grateful to members, volunteers and the wider community for their unwavering support.

Grateful thanks is extended also to local businesses whose sponsorship and donations helped make the September Soiree Lunch such a success.
