Christmas celebrations at Mayo library

WESTPORT Library was full of special guests for a special visit, arriving by horse and cart, of Mayo Person of the Year, Michael Ring, and Santa Claus!

They were just in time for a special Christmas Storytime with Charlie followed by performances by Westport Men's Shed, Westport Community Choir and The Westport Singers.

They were also treated to a special performance by librarian Noirin Gannon who hit the high notes to the delight of all.

Westport Library is open until 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 23, so there's plenty of time to call in and borrow some great books for the holidays!
