WATCH: Mayo boy (9) brings the house down performing on stage with Kingfishr

Nine-year-old Patrick Padden from Belmullet has brought the house down at the TF Royal Theatre in Castlebar while singing Killeagh with Kingfishr during their concert at the weekend.

The capacity audience rose to its feet as Patrick was invited on stage for a moment he and his family will never forget.

Patrick received a 'high-five' from the band's lead singer Eddie Keogh in praise of his wonderful singing voice.

"Killeagh" was a major hit for the band and became an Irish number one single in May 2025.

It was written by Eddie as a favour to his friend and bandmate, Eoin "Fitz" Fitzgibbon, whose native village and hurling team is Killeagh in East Cork.
