Fundraising swim in Mayo tidal pool in memory of Noel Reilly

A fundraising swim takes place in the Tidal Pool, Belmullet, on St. Stephen's Day to raise funds for Cancer Care West.

The annual event is in memory of Noel Reilly who ran O'Donoghue's Bakery in the Erris town for over 40 years along with his wife Eva.

Noel spent time at Inis Aoibhinn, the Cancer Care West facility in Galway, while he was being treated for cancer.

He died at his home at Shore Road, Belmullet, on June 6, 2015.

All donations via the link will be greatly appreciated.

A big turnout of swimmers is also expected on what promised to be a special occasion.
