Mayo asked to light up green for Samaritans' Longest Night
THE Samaritans' Longest Night will see workplaces and landmarks across Ireland lighting up green on December 21 to raise awareness for Samaritans.
And they're asking everyone in Mayo to help them to light up.
All illuminated buildings act as a reminder that Samaritans are there to support everyone in their darkest hours.
They are asking everyone to show your people, and your customers, that you understand how important it is to be there for people at risk of suicide. By lighting up your building, you’ll be raising awareness that if anyone needs someone to listen, they can call Samaritans any time of the day or night.
