Battle of the Parish fundraiser in central Mayo

The third annual Christmas Battle of the Parish novel event takes place on Sunday (December 28) for the Jimmy McHugh Cup.

Will reigning champions Keelogues retain their crown?

Will two-time finalists Crimlin finally get over the line?

Will 2023 champions Turlough regroup and make another push for the title?

Can Parke finally challenge for the number one spot?

All will be revealed from 12 p.m. onwards on Sunday, December 28, in Parke.

This year, all monies raised on the gate will be donated to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and Cancer Fund for Children - Daisy Lodge Cong.

The cup is named after one of Parke GAA's greatest underage and senior players, Jimmy McHugh - a gentle giant and all round gentleman taken far too young.

Club members and supporters are encouraged to cheer the teams on and to help keep Jimmy's memory alive.

The on-field fun will be followed by after-match celebrations in The Turlough Inn.
