Broadband boost imminent for two Mayo districts
The National Broadband Plan (NBP) is set to be rolled out in Ballinrobe and Claremorris districts next year.
The news has been confirmed by Minister Patrick O'Donovan.
He confirmed network build is in progress for Ballinrobe deployment area, which has an anticipated date of connection of April to June 2026.
Network build is also in progress for the Claremorris deployment area which has an anticipated date of completion of July 2026 to December 2026..
National Broadband Ireland (NBI) are connecting over 4,400 homes each month with high-speed services..
The NBI rollout is split into 227 Deployment Areas (DAs) across Ireland and not limited to municipal districts due to network design.
