New business set to open at prime Mayo town centre location

A new business is set to open at Hopkins Road, Castlebar - directly opposite Dunnes Stores.

It is being established in the former green-grocery premises operated by Liam Cannon for many years before its closure last February.

Thérapie Clinic - billed as Europe's No. 1 medical aesthetic clinic - has erected a sign - 'Coming Soon' - over the building.

The opening will represent a boost for the county town's busiest shopping area.

However, the nearby former New Look premises remains vacant since its closure 10 months ago.
