Mayo FC announce trio of new signings for inaugural side
Mayo FC have announced the signing of three new players as preparations continue for the club’s inaugural League of Ireland Under-20 campaign in 2026.
In a statement issued on social media during the week, the club confirmed that Ashton Judge, Jack Naylor and Daniel Lynch have all committed to the squad, which will be managed by Anthony O’Neill.
First through the door is defender Ashton Judge, a product of Ballina Town FC, who arrives with valuable League of Ireland experience following a spell with Galway United.
Judge has also gained significant exposure to senior football with his local club and is highly regarded for his maturity and leadership qualities. Last season, he captained the Mayo Football League Under-18 side to the Inter-League final, further underlining his defensive credentials.
Midfielder Jack Naylor has also joined the Mayo FC set-up. A technically gifted player, Naylor has been involved in the League of Ireland pathway since Under-13 level, with experience at Sligo Rovers, Longford Town and most recently CK United.
He has also spent time playing in Italy, adding to his football education and development.
The third signing confirmed is defender Daniel Lynch, who has previously featured with Galway United at Under-17 level.
Lynch has played with his local club Moyne Villa from a young age and will continue his League of Ireland journey with Mayo FC in the green and red.
The trio represent Mayo FC’s first signings ahead of their debut Under-20 League of Ireland season, as the club continues to build a competitive squad for 2026.
