Cold spell set to persist across the county tomorrow, according to the latest forecast.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 6

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle moving eastwards through the morning and early afternoon, followed by sunny spells and scattered showers.

Highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees with mostly moderate southwesterly winds veering northwesterly in the evening.

Low pressure dominates bringing unsettled conditions with spells of rain spreading from the Atlantic.

TUESDAY NIGHT:

Any showers along Atlantic coasts will ease early on leaving dry conditions with clear spells.

Cloud will build from the west later in the night.

Lowest temperatures of -1 to +3 degrees with light to moderate northwesterly winds.
