Mayo island launches new logo

WITH the start of a new year, Inishturk island, off the Mayo coast, has launched a new logo (pictured).

The island, nine miles off the coast, has a resident population of 60 and has been a Mecca for tourists over the years.

The new logo is ‘rooted in the sea and shaped by the island’.

A spokesperson for the community said: “We are unveiling a refreshed logo as part of our upcoming new website - a nod to tradition, community and the wild beauty that makes Inishturk unforgettable.

“The logo retains the style that everyone loves about the island brand, with added versatility for use in many exciting island projects to come.”
