New Garda Superintendent for north Mayo

A new Garda Superintendent is taking up duty in north Mayo.

Superintendent Ursula Hussey is moving on promotion to Ballina Garda Station.

She will have responsibility for the Mayo North Community Engagement Functional Area in the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Garda Division.

An Garda Síochána has announced a number of new appointments and transfers across the country, with effect from today. Supt. Hussey's appointment is the only change in Mayo.
