Notice of the levying of commercial rates in Mayo for 2026 is issued

Mayo County Council has served notice that commercial rates for 2026 have fallen due for payment.

The annual rate of valuation for all rateable properties for 2026 is €0.247, the same as last year.

Meanwhile, Local Property Tax (LPT) for 2026 requires home owners to check their valuation band with Revenue, especially if they refurbished derelict properties, with new LPT returns and payment methods needed for the valuation period 2026-2030, with adjustments possible by the council.
