Mayo property prices rise by €25,000 in one year
PROPERTY prices in Mayo have risen by €25,000 in the last year, according to the latest MyHome Property Price Report.
The report for Q4 2025, in association with Bank of Ireland, shows that the median asking price for a property in the county is now €220,000. That means prices have stayed steady over the quarter.
Asking prices for a three-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €20,000 in the last year to €195,000. This means prices rose by €5,000 over the quarter.
Meanwhile, the asking price for a four-bed semi-detached house in Mayo rose by €35,500 in the last year to €265,000. This price is up by €15,000 over the quarter.
There were 459 properties for sale in Mayo at the end of Q4 2025 - a decrease of 4% over the quarter.
The average time for a property to go sale agreed in the county after being placed up for sale now stands at three months.
