Repair works underway at Mayo Garda station

Essential repair works are currently taking place at Westport Garda Station, with scaffolding erected around parts of the building as the works progress.

An Garda Síochána has confirmed that the station remains fully open to the public 24 hours a day and that all Garda services are continuing to operate as normal during the works.

Members of the public visiting the station are being asked to exercise caution while entering and leaving the premises, and to be mindful of the ongoing works in the area.

Gardaí have advised that the repair works are expected to be completed within approximately three weeks and have thanked the public for their cooperation and understanding while the improvements are carried out.
