Man arrested in Mayo burglary investigation to appear in court

As part of ongoing investigations into burglary and related crimes in north Mayo, an arrest operation has conducted by members of the Ballina Detective Unit.

During this operation, a male in his 40s was apprehended yesterday in Dublin City.

He was subsequently brought to a Garda Station in County Mayo, where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The individual has since been charged in connection with the investigation and is due to appear before a sitting of Belmullet District Court today.

Investigations are ongoing.

The burglary took place on August 25 last.
