Mayo vigil for Palestine Action hunger strikers

An IPSC emergency demonstration for the Palestine Action hunger strikers is taking place at the Dáil this evening.

To coincide with this, there will be an emergency candlelit vigil at Market Square in Castlebar at 5.30 p.m. this evening (Wednesday).

The hunger strikers in the UK are at risk of imminent death, say IPSC, and the British government are letting them die, just as they did the 10 Irish hunger strikers in 1981.

They are demanding the British government release the hunger strikers and end the ban on Palestine Action.

The Irish government is also being told to end all complicity in genocide.

Organisers say all are welcome to join the demonstration, and bring candles if you have them.
