New campaign encourages Mayo businesses to save time, money and energy
Mayo businesses can ‘save time, money and energy’ by tapping into one of three schemes to make their businesses more productive and improve competitiveness in 2026.
The ‘All In a Day’s Work’ campaign highlights the Lean for Business Programme, Green for Business Programme and Digital for Business Programme. These 3 separate schemes offer Mayo businesses a free consultation with experts in lean methods, environmental sustainability and/or using digital tools to run their business more efficiently. The objective is to help businesses develop a plan to reduce waste, inefficiencies and costs.
For a lot of people January is a time of improvement and this is the same for businesses. These 3 schemes give them the opportunity to talk to their Local Enterprise Office and find out how they can avail of supports to improve their business. They can apply for any or all of the schemes depending on their needs and interest.
John Magee, Head of Enterprise at Mayo County Counsil said: “This campaign is all about being as competitive and productive as possible, seeking simple changes businesses can make to improve themselves.
We have made it as simple as possible for businesses to access these supports. No matter what sector your business is in, we can help you. We’ve helped hundreds of businesses to date.”
The Green for Business programme and the Digital for Business programme can also lead businesses on the Energy Efficiency Grant and the Grow Digital Voucher, which provide financial support for companies that want to implement the findings of the programme within their business.
These supports have been expanded by the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to cover all business sectors and are now open to any business with up to 50 employees.
Businesses are being encouraged to reach out to their Local Enterprise Office to start the process or visit here to fill out the form and their Local Enterprise Office will take it from there.
