Sadly missed by his loving wife Detty, children Catherine, Breege, Avril and Adrian, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, adored grandchildren Sean, Liam, Saoirse, Padraig, Brian, Declan, Matthew, Muireann and Ruairí, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and dear neighbours.
Reposing at Daly’s Funeral Home, Bangor Erris on Wednesday evening from 5.30 p.m. until 7.30 p.m.
Removal from his residence on Thursday to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bangor Erris for Funeral Mass at 12 p.m. with burial afterwards in Bangor Erris Cemetery.
MICHAEL DAVITT, NEWPORT

Beloved husband of Maura (née Ruane, Doolough, Geesala), dear father of Regina (Belmullet), Noel (Portumna, Co. Galway), Bernice (Belmullet), Edel (Belmullet) and Michael (Lucan, Dublin) and cherished grandfather to his adored grandchildren Shona, Keeva, Emma, Oisín, Orla, James, Luca and Noah. He will be sadly missed by his family, son-in-law Pat Murphy, daughters-in-law Ann Marie and Fran, brother James, sisters Kathleen and Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and many friends.

Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the funeral proceeding afterwards to Craggagh Cemetery.

Michael will be so deeply missed by his sons-in-law Cillein and Mikey, brother Jim, sisters Peggy (Guinan), Anne (Lawrence), Moya (Meade), Teresa, Kathleen (Reidy), Carmel, Eileen (Mulholland), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and the incredible circle of neighbours and friends who treasured him so dearly.
