Athletes to be honoured at the 2025 Westnet Mayo Athletic Awards
All roads lead to the Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet, next Sunday (January 25), where the Westnet Mayo Athletic Awards will take place. Erris Athletic Club are hosting the event.
This is one of the premier sporting events in the county calendar, and athletes from all over Mayo will be honoured for their contribution to athletics during the past year.
In total, 124 awards and 51 certificates will be presented to all athletes who won national and international medals in 2025.
Last year was another successful one for athletes all over the county. Mayo is privileged to have so many fantastic athletes representing their clubs, county and country with distinction in all aspects of athletics.
It is a great privilege to see athletes from Mayo competing and winning with the best athletes in the country and abroad.
The award categories are: Extraordinary, Outstanding, Special, High, Achievement Award and Team Achievement Awards.
The following athletes will receive awards and/or certificates at the ceremony next Sunday.
