N17 Mayo junction closures starting soon

WORKS to close junctions along the N17 are due to get underway soon.

Seven junctions are set to be closed between Knock and Claremorris in a bid to improve road safety.

This section of road has been the scene of multiple serious accidents over the years.

In an update, the monthly council management report for January stated that the contract for the N17 junctions closure has been awarded and works are to commence shortly.
