Mayo footballer celebrates 10 years as JJ Burke car sales brand ambassador

JJ Burke Car Sales is celebrating a major milestone as Mayo senior footballer Diarmuid O'Connor marks 10 years as brand ambassador for the Ballinrobe dealership.

Diarmuid recently collected the keys to his latest Peugeot, a new Peugeot 3008, continuing a long-standing partnership built on loyalty, community and local pride.

Speaking at the handover, Diarmuid said: “I honestly can’t believe it’s been 10 years. The JJ Burke team have been incredibly supportive of me throughout my time with Mayo and I’ve always felt very welcome whenever I call in. It’s been a pleasure driving a Peugeot over the years and working with a local business that genuinely supports me and Mayo.”

Joseph Burke, Director, JJ Burke Car Sales said the partnership has been a source of great pride for the family: “We have always been huge Mayo GAA fans, so it has been an honour to have Diarmuid as our brand ambassador. It’s hard to believe it’s been 10 years, and we’re delighted to continue working with him.”
