Opportunity now open for Mayo land rezoning requests

Mayo County Council has published the residential zoned land tax annual draft map for 2027.

It's an opportunity to make rezoning requests in relation to lands contained on the published final map for 2026.

The deadline for submissions is April 1.

The draft map for 2027 was prepared for the purposes of identifying land that satisfies the relevant criteria and is to be subject to the residential zoned land tax.

Residential properties contained on the published RZLT map are not subject to tax if they are already subject to Local Property Tax.
