Top Mayo GAA club set to invest in floodlights

A leading Mayo GAA club is investing in floodlighting.

Castlebar Mitchels is lodging a planning application to Mayo County Council for the installation of three floodlights on the west side of their pitch, Josie Munnelly Park.

The club is also seeking to upgrade the existing three floodlights on the pitch's east side.

A decision on the application will be forthcoming in the coming months.
