Uisce Éireann investigating reports of water outage in west Mayo town
Uisce Éireann crews are investigating reports of a disruption to the water supply in the Quays area of Westport.
Ronan McDonnell of Uisce Éireann confirmed that crews are mobilising to site to investigate the outage and isolate the issue as quickly as possible.
He said: “Customers at The Quays, Streamstown and surrounding areas are currently experiencing a disruption to their supply. We understand the inconvenience that an unplanned outage can cause for homes and businesses, and we wish to assure affected customers that we are doing all we can to address the problem as quickly as we can.”
Vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communications for planned and unplanned outages lasting more than four hours. To register as a vulnerable customer or as an alternative contact, visit water.ie.
