Issue beside jetty at popular Mayo lake

AN issue of concern at the jetty at Lough Lannagh in Castlebar needs addressing.

There's a piece of old concrete on the left side and when it gets flooded you cannot see it, Councillor Ger Deere has highlighted.

It's very serious if people are going jumping in and swimming, Councillor Deere told a municipal meeting.

He asked management that it be looked at urgently.
