Mayo finalists of Ireland’s fittest family visit local Londis store

There was a great buzz in Crossmolina as the McDonagh family, proud finalists on the popular RTÉ series Ireland’s Fittest Family, recently visited Hiney’s Londis, where they were warmly welcomed by store owners Enda and Carmel Hiney.

The McDonagh family, from Geesala, captured the admiration of viewers across the country through their determination, strength and unwavering team spirit.

Competing with pride from start to finish, the family fought their way to the final in one of the most challenging seasons of the show. The team includes Pat, Daniel, Matthew and Leah McDonagh.

Pat said: “On behalf of our family, I would like to thank the local community for all their well-wishes during the competition and for really getting behind us. It’s been an amazing run and we’re so grateful for the response since the series started. Thanks also to Enda and Carmel for welcoming us to the store and for the support of the Londis family throughout.”
