Mayo tourist town among Ireland's Top 10 Most Welcoming places

Booking.com’s annual Traveller Review Awards have revealed the top 10 'Most Welcoming' places in Ireland, with Westport coming in at No. 7.

The coastal village of Doolin in Co. Clare has been recognised at No. 1 for its dramatic Atlantic views, close-knit community spirit, welcoming pubs and seafood delights.

The strong community spirit and sweeping landscapes of Clifden and Westport saw them secure spots in Ireland’s top 10.
